As an Education Consultant for technical and vocational schools, I always strive to inspire teachers by encouraging them to use new technologies with their students, making them excited about their education. Sometimes, teachers struggle to teach theoretical concepts. Motivating them to overcome these challenges is our mission. During the pandemic, we sought a more concrete, engaging, and enjoyable way to teach technical subjects that mobilize skills rather than relying solely on typical flipped classroom or e-learning methods, which are often too theory-based with classical evaluations. We discovered Altheria, a company specializing in educational XR tools that provide efficient training solutions. Even though the pandemic has passed, their technology and tools remain valuable assets for enhancing student learning and supporting teachers in their pedagogical efforts. Immersive training is an effective tool that bridges the gap to real industry world situations. By helping teachers identify specific learning hurdles their students face, we can then plan a pedagogical scenario that blends classical teaching methods Altheria Practice tool to achieve more efficient training. We are starting to use the Altheria Practice tool to help teachers adopt our new curriculum and implement the new content effectively. Indeed, this allows us to enable the teachers we support to experience and practice the new learning sequences and strategies that we offer them.
